Scott Gentry reveals his favourite cinema...
Pretty good eh? Not only are they well priced in ticketing, but also in drinks and food as well. To keep up with cinema chains such as Vue and Cineworld, Premiere recently purchased Sony 4K Digital projectors, which provide the highest image resolution available in projection technology today. As well as a perfect picture, Premiere also provide rich sound from the popular company Dolby.
In addition to their sterling reputation, the cinema staff are always well mannered and that is a rare quality in today's society. Despite the odd disruption from rowdy patrons, Premiere Cinema is the ideal location for cinema-goers who don't want to pay the high cost of any other local cinema. This is definitely an opportunity not worth missing.
4 stars!

"Sin City" may be getting the small screen treatment
A report from the New York Times has revealed that Bob Weinstein will develop a "Sin City" TV show through the help of Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller. The show will maintain the same style of the film and will use the vast "Sin City" universe, to it's full extent.
"Sin City" is being followed by a sequel named "Sin City: A Dame To Kill For" and will be released in August 2014.
My Favourite Film Of The Year by Scott Gentry
- There have been so many clear contenders for my favorite film of the year and it has been extremely hard to choose from, but I think I've come to a decision.
- It's time to reveal my favorite film of the year. All critics do it, so why shouldn't I?
So, here it is. My favorite film of the year is... "R.I.P.D".
Oh, sorry. I actually meant...
"The Place Beyond The Pines".
Surprised? Shocked? Agree?
Let me know you're thoughts at scottgentry830@gmail.com. If you haven't see the film, watch it immediately.
Kind regards,
Scott Gentry.
Rest in peace Paul Walker (1973-2013)
- It is with regret to report that "Fast and Furious" actor Paul Walker, died in a traffic collision on the 30th of November, 2013. Whilst on his way to a charity event, the car collided with a streetlamp pole and burst into flames, with Paul and his friend Roger Rodas inside. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Tributes have been made by fellow stars of the "Fast and Furious" franchise, including Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office said in their statement, that speed was a factor in the crash.
Our thoughts here at Utopia go out to all of Paul's family, at this tragic time.
The Muppets are coming back, in their latest star-studded trailer featuring Ricky Gervais
- Following on from "The Muppets", their latest film see's the whole gang become entangled with a European jewel-heist; led by a dangerous Kermit the Frog lookalike. David Ayer's latest film "Fury" has found it's composer
- Composer of the hit film "Gravity" Steven Price, is now set to compose the score for David Ayer's World War Two piece "Fury"; starring Brad Pitt. In a statement given to the site "Deadline", Ayer said "Stephen Price's fresh approach to scoring and his extraordinary creativity, make him the perfect collaborator for my film".
"Fury" is due to hit British cinemas on October 24th, next year.
Simon Pegg will star in "Mission Impossible 5"
- To have a "Mission Impossible" film without Simon Pegg (as computer whizz Benji Dunn) would be criminal, so we're quite relieved to hear that his character has definitely, been confirmed for the fifth installment. In an interview with MTV, Pegg stated that "He's definitely on for it" and jokingly added, that he'd begun eating carrots for his diet.
A sequel to "It's A Wonderful Life" is definitely on the books
- As Christmas is right around the corner, a sequel to the popular Christmas film "It's A Wonderful Life" has been announced. In an interview from "Variety" magazine, Karolyn Grimes (a cast member from the original) said in a statement that “The new film will retain the feeling of the original, and it (the story) simply must be shared."
"I've probably read close to 20 scripts over the years suggesting a sequel to It’s a Wonderful Life, but none of them were any good. The script by Bob Farnsworth and Martha Bolton was wonderful, and I wanted to be involved with his version of the film immediately.”
Producers are currently looking for a director and cast to helm this project, but their aim is to release the film in time for Christmas 2015.
The "Need For Speed" film is ever closer and here's a new trailer to prove it...
